How I pick deals

SlickRish is not a firehose. The scanner watches the big feeds. I only put something in the Top 10 if I would spend my own money on it. Every Top 10 pick has its own page with my one-line reason, plus my verdict and a price check when I’ve written them.

The SlickRish Deal Laws

  1. Would Rish buy it?

    If no, it can sit in the scanner list. It does not make the Top 10.

  2. Best-of-web check

    Before a pick goes up I check the merchant, Amazon, and Google Shopping, plus any coupon that actually changes the price. I write what I found.

  3. Fake discounts get killed

    If the “was $399” price is a phantom MSRP, I say so or I don’t post it.

  4. Every price is timestamped

    The number on the card is only true at the time shown. Always confirm in your cart.

  5. Cashback gets stacked when it helps

    If Rakuten or Capital One Shopping pays on that store, I’ll say to start there first. You don’t pay extra. I may earn a referral.

  6. Rish’s Choice is rare

    At most a few per day. It needs a one-sentence reason I would buy it.

  7. Scanner stays labeled

    Raw scanner finds are not mixed into the Top 10. Humans pick the ten. Software finds the rest.

What I don’t do

  • I don’t sell a homepage slot to a store.
  • I don’t need you to make an account.
  • I don’t run ads or popups.

Prices and stock move. If a pick is dead, that’s deal life — check the stamp, then your cart.
