Black Friday 2026 is Friday, November 27, the day after Thanksgiving. Cyber Monday follows on November 30. Plenty of stores start “early Black Friday” sales days or weeks before that, so the deals start before the date does.

This page is my Black Friday list. At the top is my Top 10: the deals I’d buy today, picked from everything my scanner found. Each one shows the store, the price and when that price was last checked. Amazon prices more than a day old aren’t shown; the card links to the live price instead. Most of what I post is Amazon, plus Walmart, Best Buy, eBay and Target when the price is good. I update this page through Thanksgiving week and Cyber Monday.

What’s usually worth buying on Black Friday

The thing you’ve already been watching

Black Friday is good for purchases you planned. It’s bad for things you didn’t want until a banner told you to. If a product is already on your list, look at its price history before Nov 27 so you know a real drop when you see it. On Amazon that’s the “Price History” link on the product page.

Gifts, bought once, early

If you know what someone wants, buying it Thanksgiving week beats paying more in mid-December or finding it sold out.

TVs, laptops and headphones: compare, don’t assume

These are the categories where “Black Friday price” gets used the most loosely. If you checked the price during Prime Big Deal Days (Oct 6–7), compare it to the Black Friday price before buying.

Amazon’s own devices

Kindle, Echo, Fire TV, Ring and Blink are Amazon’s own products, so Amazon sets those prices itself. If you watched one in October, check its Price History link on Amazon before you buy on Black Friday.

Black Friday vs Prime Big Deal Days

Prime Big Deal Days (Oct 6–7, 2026) is Amazon-only and Prime-only. Black Friday (Nov 27, 2026) covers nearly every store and doesn’t need a membership. For any one product, the lower price could land on either date. The only way to know is to check the price at both. For Amazon products, the Price History link on the product page shows what it cost in October. My Prime Big Deal Days page has the start times and what’s usually worth buying.

How to tell a real deal from a fake discount

A crossed-out “list price” is the store’s number, not proof of a deal. Two checks I use:

  1. Price history. Amazon’s own Price History link on the product page. A drop that only undoes a recent price hike isn’t a deal.
  2. The timestamp. Every price on SlickRish shows when it was last checked. If it’s hours old during Black Friday week, click through and look before you get excited.

When is Black Friday 2026?

Black Friday 2026 is Friday, November 27, 2026. Black Friday is always the day after Thanksgiving, and Thanksgiving 2026 is Thursday, November 26. Cyber Monday 2026 is Monday, November 30.

When do Black Friday 2026 sales start?

It depends on the store. Black Friday itself is November 27, 2026, but many stores run “early Black Friday” sales in the weeks before, and some start on Thanksgiving Day. I add early deals to my Black Friday Top 10 as soon as the prices are worth posting.

When is Cyber Monday 2026?

Cyber Monday 2026 is Monday, November 30, 2026, the Monday after Black Friday. Many stores stretch their Cyber Monday sales across the whole week after Thanksgiving.

Are Black Friday deals online or in store?

Both, depending on the store. Some Black Friday deals are online only and some are in store only. Every deal I post on SlickRish is an online deal with a direct link to the store’s page.

Is Black Friday cheaper than Prime Big Deal Days?

Not reliably. Prime Big Deal Days (October 6–7, 2026) is Amazon-only; Black Friday (November 27, 2026) covers most stores. Some products are cheapest in October, some in November. Check the product’s price history at both events and buy when it matches the lowest price.

Which stores does SlickRish cover for Black Friday?

Mostly Amazon, because that’s where most of the deals I find are. I also post Walmart, Best Buy, eBay and Target deals when the price is good. Every deal shows the store, and every price shows when it was last checked.
